Over the years, we have expanded our cattle to include not only registered, show quality Miniature Herefords but also FullBlood Black Wagyu and Wagyu influenced (aka F1) cattle. With over 120+ head of cattle, the time has come to rebrand as one....so Montgomery Mini Herefords is now Montgomery Cattle Co. in order to better reflect the cattle we breed.
Montgomery Cattle Co continues to focus on quality...for the show ring, seed stock and beef production. Our miniature Herefords are functional cattle that do well in the show ring and become integral members of your breeding herd. Our Wagyu reflect foundation bloodlines from the original Japanese cattle that will help transform the quality of your beef.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE EATING....
Very few people realize the amount of chemicals and "processing" that goes into food we eat...little is what it seems. The more we learn about the food industry, the more we realize the importance of knowing where your food comes from - how it was raised, WHERE it was raised and what it ate. Do you know that the "grass fed beef" you buy in the grocery store most likely is raised in the same muddy, cramped feedlot as corn fed beef? Our beef is raised in open, green pastures and humanely handled from the day it is born. We offer primarily natural, grass fed beef but will occasionally have grain finished cattle available.
WHERE TO FIND OUR BEEF....
Our beef is processed at a USDA processing plant, aged 21+ days and available for purchase to cook at home or at Ransom's Steakhouse in Montgomery, Texas
